Hi all,

This is my first post.

Im from Adelaide. I havent bought a Honda yet, but plan to shortly.

I currently drive a 2000 subaru liberty gx wagon, but finding it too slow.

I'll probably get a second hand 03-04 Accord euro, luxury if possible and in black and manual. :D

Hope to maybe go on a cruise with some of you some time.

Sounds like a good site here.

Cheers
Shav

darkside??? haha

Cheers guys. Thanks for the welcome.

I must admit, you guys have some dam hot euro's here. well done

I test drove a euro on the weekend, and I must say they are quite a well built tidy package. I was very impressed wit the way it handled and drove.

At this stage, I dont plan on modding it at all. It will be a daily driver for me. I just want to enjoy the comforts and driving quality. im a bit over the modification bug, modified the hell out of some cars I used to own in the past so it really isnt my thing much any more. (btw Im nearly 30 and married)

Still learning about a different car is interesting to me, so if you guys can enlighten me with your knowledge about these great vehicles, I am willing to listen and take it all in.

I also have some experience in old skool fords and some holdens so if there is a need, I will be happy to give my unbiased opinion on htis subject should it ever come up.

Cheers guys, and thanks again.

I'm a bit of an XF Fairmont fan but since my dad sold it to the wreckers, I've nothing left to bum around in.

The euro is a brilliant everyday driver, and it's got some pretty good handling for a heavy (relative to other Hondas) car.

Welcome to OzHonda!

Welcome Shav, great choice of car. I really want a Euro too but $$ is too tight atm. bummer! There are some hot euros in melbourne that are pretty damn quick - all performance.

Thanks again guys for the replies and welcomes.

I dont view the honda as heavy when you compare it to a 2L AWD auto subaru liberty wagon I currently have with only 92kw!!!

And coz I want a manual, I think it will make me feel a bit better as far as the power is concerned.

The Honda is an exceptional vehicle with class and refinement.

The old skool fords i will always love as purely muscle cars, agricultural, yes, but they have character which I have always been attracted to. Especially when it has a tough clevo or windsor under the bonnet.

But the jap cars are a different league which I have already had a taste, just would like some extra go with the flavour.
