Hey all,

I have a 05 Luxury AT, when I turn at very low speeds (to the left only) I am getting a squeking/whining sort of sound from the power steering or something. It only happens when I am basically not moving, I try not to turn while stationary for obvious reasons, but its at times like reversing out of carparks/driveways etc.

I asked the dealer service centre to have a look when it had a 30,000k service, apparently they couldn't hear it.

Just wondering if anyone else has had something similar.. I guess I will take it back again and have to do it for them.

Cheers
Chris

Try greasing the steering column joints under the dash using some Silicon Grease Spray.

Did the same thing on a Toyota using WD40 and it got rid of the squeak, but I imagine Silicon Grease would last longer.
