matallic screeching noise when clutching

hey i have a integra LS and whenever i clutch in, theres a screeching noise.
how do i fix it? can i just spray some WD40 on the clutch?

When your engine is off, does it still screech when you clutch in?

Yea it does...

i think its just the clutch pedal thats making the noise... but how do i fix it?

Could be a lube problem with the clutch pedal assembly. Lube up the pivot points with spray on grease (not WD-40). See if this works.

are LS integra cable or hydraulic?

if its cable then you may also have damage on the firewall.

lol..dont spray wd40 or ur clutch will slip and u'll end up burning ur clutch...
is ur clutch hydraulic or cable?if cable then u might need a new 1..if its hydraulic and it still happens wen engine is off then ur release bearing is dry, wen u press then clutch it will slide along the inputshaft causing the screecching noise ause theres no lubrication..fixing it is gearbox out and lubricating the shaft and bearing.
