Use Honda oil, which is kinda the safest way to go. but its pricey.

though u can use semi synthetic oil or fully synthetic. but to be safe check your manual book what oil you can put in. i pressume arround 10w to 25w

Honda dealership, or the maintanance department ;D just go in, tell what model is your car, they will guide you through it.

When you search, you need a minimum of 4 letters. So search for oil* instead.

And for your b18c2, you need an oil of 10w-30. Honda FEO is 10w-30, and there are a few other synthetic oils that are also around 0w-30 to 10w-30. You can also use 0w-40 to 10w-40, but you will feel that the engine a little more sluggish and there will be a slight increase in fuel consumption.

You can use thicker oil in the summer and thinner in the winter. Also the hotter the race track is the thicker the oil should be. Just something we do here.

Yup, I do that too, using 5w-30 in autumn/winter and 0w-40 in spring/summer/track racing.

10w 50

I wouldn't recommend someone who was using 10w-30 to use 10w-50 Mobil1. At most, 10w-40. For your car, since you've been running 10w-50, keep using that and don't go back to 10w-30.

Of course for the old F22A that was used in the older Accords, those specified 10w-40 as the required oil, then 10w-50 would be alright.

why would you not recommend going back to 10w30?

i have been recommended 'castrol gtx' and to get honda oil it would mean a 40min drive to the next town (no honda dealer here)

is there anything that is just as good as honda oil?

thats hard to say, every company have their advertisement, which lure people to the market, though we all have our own personal choices.

i put castrol GTX3 i think 10w-40 cant remember lol

You'll have more oil consumption from blowby since your piston ring clearances are set for 10w-50 now.

Don't make your choice based solely on the brand. You'll end up with incorrect oil for your engine. Stick as close to 10w-30 as possible. The first number is for cold -18 C, and the 2nd for the engine operating temperature 100 C. I don't like GTX3 as it tends to get gummed up in the intake manifold, as well as being a 15w-40 (not as good cold start protection). Magnatec 10w-40 is much better instead.

If you are willing to spend on a more expensive synthetic, then Castrol Edge 5w-30 is pretty good, as well as the 0w-40. Shell Helix Ultra 5w-40 is alright.... but the API rating shows it is still following the older less stringent rating. Mobil1 10w-30 in the gold bottle is alright too, the cheaper one in the silver bottle (5w-50) is too viscous. Basically, the best oils on the market now that are suitable for your car with street use are of the rating API SL/SM, 0w-30, 5w-30, 10w-30, 0w-40, 5w-40 and 10w-40.
