it looks like just pop them in and they will either fall through to the ground or you will be able retreive them after the plastic is removed

You broke the clip...

Now the only way is to put a flat head under the locking lip and wank it out.. It will be hard because the locking screw is holding it in place.. After which, you better go get some new ones...

i didn't break the clip...i just put a small hole through that little circle part...the clip is still fine

why do you need to remove that rear clip anyway? ie what is the work you are doing on the car?

If you want to access the area behind the bumper you don't need to remove the rear clips - just the ones at the front and leave the guard hanging whilst you work in that area.

edit - we had that clip off when the side skirts were installed on my car. Have you tried getting to that clip once the bottom part being held by "B" is removed. Ie reach from behind.

My bad, that one is abit tricky, you have can only remove it from the inside of the guard..

Only thing is.. the hole is not supposed to look like the photo...you are supposed to see a clip of sorts through it...

Start from the front of the bumper and work your way back through... You might have to pull the panel out abit to get the guard out. If you can get your hand to it from the underneath, it's better...

Could I just casually ask why you want to remove that?

yeh, i was just trying to figure out if there was a way to remove it without having to reach from behind...

will be removing it to find a better mounting place for my HID ballasts...

i had the whole front bar and headlights removed once when i was working on the car, and there is no good place i can mount the ballasts besides behind that fender guard...so hence i'm trying to find a better/new place.

and i like to remove that guard whilst working on it...makes it much easier to work around and to see. that's just how i like to do things.

You remove all the other clips from the outside, and then you remove the "j" clips from the inside. BTW, don't pull the fender liner to remove those clips. The dealer did that with mine and tore the liner (I got a new one FOC though).

Anyway, there is nothing behind there to make your HID ballast mounting better.

I have taken off my euro clips, but don't know how to put it back. Should I buy new clips to use?
