ek9 is single core if I am not ripped off. I bought one off an ek9's nose cut from one of the ozhonda traders.

if ur car is overheating then thats not good. Espeically on track wen u get alot of air rushing to the radiator, ur temp shuld be around 90'c. Im running an accord radiator on my one, hasn't overheated once. Jimmy's swift the other day at wakie had consistent water temp of 86-90'c. IMO a long length radiator like the dc2r ones are better than dual core short length radiator.

yer i had an EK9 one. it's really thin... no idea about dual core or not but it's thinner than normal Dohc Vtec radiators. Silver in colour too.

As for cooling just get a lower thermostat and thermoswitch. If that don't work get an oil cooler. Still not happy get an after market radiator.

Yeah the ek9 one is skinny to the max, it's like 1cm thick and I really doubt it can be a dual core with that sort of thickness. And yeah it's half size and much thinner than the em1 unit...

i reckon just go for aftermarket unit, I use pwr now.

only overheats on track ... got a feeling its the coolant..

what would a mugen thermo and fan switch do for me..? (noob question)
I would think ill wont be utlising the fan and my thermo 100% open..

never had a priblem til now...

could it be coolant.. can crap brand thermo not open as big?

As trav said try and find a auto EK one or a del sol CRX one ~ thick for stock and single width.

Problem probably coolant. Go flush it and refill with proper honda coolant la

right... stock EM1 radiator is the same size as any auto and del sol CRX radiator and probably about 5 years newer, so only an idiot would want to do that.

Thermo's help cause they activate earlier, hence making it harder to heat up.
