Bluetooth Phone System

Just noticed this accessory for the Civic and also compatible with other Honda vehicles. Anyone have this? Is it worth getting?

Not if you're a P-Plater in NSW.
New regulations will ban all hands-free systems from around July.

Yes, thats unfortunate. Lucky im off my Ps years ago. I think the only problem with this is, everyone in ur car can hear the other persons conversation. I assume the sound comes out of ur speakers.

Not always; depends on the system of delivery.

Some Bluetooth systems have their won speakers; some -- that work over your head unit, go over your speakers.

quick question... is that means red P pleaters cant even use the bluetooth thats connecto to your speaker (as in not having a bluetooth headphones dangling on your ear)?

No Bluetooth, no Handsfree, nothing.

Red Platers can't use their phones. Period.
