with +40 offset u probably would only be able to fit 225 or 235 at the rears and 215's at the front.

although it might be a bit different depending on the width of the rims.

i'd probably go with 35's at the fronts so it would look better and 40's at the rears.

how much u paying for tyres?

im needing 2 x 18" 215/35 tyres as well. if u can get them cheap somewhere let me know bro.

i'd go 215/40R18 at the front and 235/35R18 at the rears

because the thickness rating is a % of tread width

so in really the fronts are 86mm thick on 215/40 and the rears on the 35 profile with width at 235, is 82.25mm thick. on 40 profile at the rears its 94mm thick

upto you in the end though

i think he went with 18x7.5 all around. and yes people usually got staggered size, but if you really know what you doing for the suspension, same width all around is fine. there are few s2ks on s2ki running 17x9.5 all around, just get the right offset and get the right size of front tire

i've asked around and i can't find anyone who does 235/35s...

i can only find 215/35, 215/40, 215/45 for the fronts

for the rears.. 225/35 and 235/40s

so all this = Screwed...

will it scrub? if i drop it 2.5 inch?

i reckon it will scrub....

2.5" drop for an s2k is quite low. unless u roll the guards but i doubt it will help much esp your running +40 offset. the same offset i had on my last s2k i couldnt run anything sticker than 30-35 profile. and that was 215 for the fronts...

flare the guards out

the rear guards are a bit wider, +40 at the rears are perfectly fine even with 235's. the fronts however would accomodate 215's only with +40 offset. and lowest profile possible, i wouldnt even recomment 40 profiles at the front. i had 45's at the front and the wheels rolled my guards on 3" drop.

it really depends on your offsets .
I only dropped mine 1.5in at the rear and it fcked up my rear tyres HARD , you will need to replace your tyres every 6months or so at that height . Also , your are going to have alot of problems going over speed humps .

I'd think twice before doing it .

As for staggered front and back , if you are not too concerned about handling then having the same width front and back wont matter , i drove around for 2yrs with 225/40 front and back without too many drama's .

As for cheap tyres , you get what you pay for . The 18in toyo proxes i had on my rims were shocking . No grip in wet or dry . So keep that in mind .

this is 1.5 at the rear
