** Seatbelt Problem!! **

Having a problem with the belt not moving freely sometimes when i get in...

This happens on and off now and im basically doing a trip without a belt which is annoying & risky.

Anybody have any idea what can be done to fix it?
Or whats causing it?

the internal clutch is fked...from a previous accident or age...replace em :)

Ben, im in a 97 model crx, meaning it has airbags. Was quoted $360 trade from Honda for a new seatbelt which includes mechanism.

Is this part model interchangable?
Is it possible to rip it out and fix it?

Edit: Just spoke to Honda. 97 Models have SRS input. Meaning Ive got to get a new one from honda. $360 trade - fark. Have found one in meantime w/o SRS input for $125 but there is a risk of no airbag deployment.

Why isnt honda parts open on weekends!!! ARHH!
