Black greasy substance ..... :?

Hi guys i was up under my dash the other night doin stuff, and i noticed there is a little bit of black oil or grease, leaking from where the clutch linkage goes through the rubber grommet in the firewall.. Whats the go with this is it bad? there not heaps leaking just a little????????????

clean it off with a rag and check it in a week, if its back, there could be a problem and therefore you do something bout it, if its not, its probably just lubricant etc and nothing to worry about.
