DC2R idling issue

My car now idles around 1.1-1.2k after warm up and when I step on the clutch to try to change gear, the rpm will drop to 1.5k instead of 7xx-8xxrpm. Also when i step on the clutch the rpm drops lot slower than before

What have you changed on your car prior to the problem occuring?

It sounds like you may have an air leak...
Look around intake manifold... Fuel pressure reg etc

It could also be something obstructing the throttle cable.

The engine is not breathing properly at idle.

Give the Throttle Body a clean with carby cleaner.
Also clean the IACV.
(Search the DIY section for "Throttle" and "IACV")

Dont adjust the Idle Screw, you should fix the source of the problem first.

Check your throttle cable before you check anything could be as simple as that.
