looking for under $120/each
thx ppl :D
under $120 you wont get a good tyre.
something better than shit but not hektik.
toyo proxes 4 in 195/50/15 is about 130 /140 through jdmyard
or bridgestone g3, yoko c drive.
Proxes 4 are meant to be quite poor, plus they are all-season rather than high performance.
I'm getting SPT's for my next set of tyres, they seem to get excellent reviews. So far have only called Kogarah Tyrepower, $152 each fitted and balanced for 205/55/15's (no idea if that is a good price)

I paid $155 for a 205/55 R16's for the Kumho's in August last year, just to give you a comparsion.
theres a tyre thread just look for it.
you can get toyo t1r from jdmyard for around $150 in your size
The ku31 in 195/50/15 was $120 in a tyre shop in belmore on burwood road.
I forgot the name of the shop but they have a big kumho billboard on their shop.
I was going to buy the tyre but found out they are only average.

I'm running proxes 4's on the front. Love them, very happy with the performance, especially for the cost ($150 each fitted and balanced for 205/45/16)
Plenty of grip, still good in the wet. Yes they're "all-season"....but i don't understand why you'd see that as a disadvantage in a daily driver. I'm not to keen on having to change tyres over autumn/winter.
Check the Tyre Recommendation thread found here: http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?t=409&highlight=tyre
Edit: Thanks for the tip, Poid. Wish the salesguy had pointed that out when i said the same thing to him.
