Really Noob - Noisy Aircon Blower

Hey PPL recently with the hot weather I've had to turn the aircon on..
I have noticed that when I do the blower (under the dash in the passenger side) makes a noise like squeaking as if it was rusted or something. and its really annoying.. cos it comes and goes when the aircon is on. if i turn the aircond higher it usually stops. It is really annoying when i have it on low..
is my Blower screwed or can i fix it somehow.... Anyclues.. Thankx ppl....

you can take the fan motor out ~ it will have old leaves and crap inside it and makes the noise.

Get under neath the passenger side ~ and take a small 10mm spanner or socket - and there should be 3 or 4 bolts to undo to the fan unit. Take these out , unplug the loom and drop the fan straight down. Empty the crap out of it and reinstall. should fix it ?
