Hi all, im new to the forum (i read a lot, but no posting), and i'de just thought i would share my thoughts on the mods ive done to my integra.

Its a DC4 94 Gsi, bought it stock.

Recently, had a 4-1 xforce set of extractors put on it, high flow cat, 2.25" catback and a genie canon muffler. There also was another muffler put in series which i was unaware of, but i assume that was the quiet the bitch down? :).

Also put a cosmo racing CAI on, this one runs down to the base of the wheel, and i put a k+n pod filer on it, due to the cosmo one being poor quality.

Fitted front and rear strut braces, from xracing.com.au
lastly 17" rims with low profile rubber on them (thanks beastcivic, they are excellent :) )

results: no dyno sorry :P, but from my own reliable perception ;) , i have noticed some nice results. the intake was put on first, which noticably the car reved a lot quicker, and had quite a better take off.

once the exhaust went on, it was a tough due to the noise  to distingush how much it had improved. after an ecu reset, and wearing it in, i can confidently say from high/med revs and up, the pick up is far greater than before, and it redlines at higher speeds too in each gear.

strut braces. due to them being non brand , and also having the new wheels being put on around the same time, its difficult to say how the suspension and handling has improved. It had improved, but it might be more of a result from the wider tyre base than the struts. corners feel slightly more stiffer, and general steering feels nicer.

and what is a thread without pics:

Ive done about the same to my teg (95 GSI) and it pulls 93kw with 4-2-1 headers (brand?) a custom short ram with k/n and an ecu reset.

Thosr rims look nice mate but i tihnk the next thing you do realy should be some better springs and shocks....way too much gap between the tire and the gaurd.

When i put 16's on befor i got it lowered it feel like i was driking a truck it was so high.

nice review mate

like above, get a nice set of shocks and springs and you will lower the centre of gravity which will create a better environment for your strut braces, and improve the stability and looks of your car

welcome too dude

post some more pics of your whole car, not just parts of it.

ah, so at the wheel what is the gsi stock?

ive been considering change the suspension, but i really only have the budget for springs. cant afford coilover or new shocks.
If i lower it say 1.5-2" with just chaning the springs, would i be in for some real issues with the shocks?
