Yes, a friend of mine managed to score one with only ~40,000kms on the clock.. It had the Black valve cover (D16Y1 SOHC VTEC) plus Driver's SRS (airbag) and also ABS.. otherwise same as a normal VTi.

normal vti doesnt have abs... and the valve cover is metal colour not black... but the driver airbag is normal.

nah man.. Driver's Airbag is NOT standard on any EG's except the 95 spec civics.. they're on other 95 specs like the GLi etc.. but my (94) VTi has no airbags.

and no it was not a JDM spec - it was a fair-dinkum D16Y1 with the tailgate decal saying "VTi-SE".

as this was the run-out model prior to the 'new generation' EK's.. the sales of the EG were not that great in 95 so you dont see that many around. I suspect there's a few left in the garages at some old-people's homes ;)

I got mine sold to me (and registered as a 95 model) even though it was built in September 94 (it was complied 02/95) and i got an air bag (even though i don't want it)

hrm well mine was built late 93, imported 94.. so perhaps they updated the EG's made in 94 with the Airbags - bummer (for you guys!) as it's extra weight and problems IMO.
