Apparently they give you headaches from being so close to your head.
They also cost more than they are worth.

Been reading a few other threads and they do mention about getting headaches and deafness... So might give the headrest speakers a miss.
Any recommendations on the replacing the exsisting speakers?

I'm thinking of replacing the stock speakers with splits and putting two 12"s in the boot. Fu*k putting speakers behind near the head rests that would be deafening splits are more than enough its the bass that that actually fills the rest of the sound

you played Daytona too much when u were a kid....lol - if you hook them up maybe set it up with a swtich to turn on and off as you please, so if you get a headache...off they go :)
otherwise, i got infinity 6500 series 6.5" splits and i cant complain... cheap too. under $300

OMG they look ghey big time.
Trust me buy some 6inch Pioneer yellow spilts, run them with one 12 in the boot and you'll absolutely love it
