I have an amazing story to tell... I have owned a 2004 Accord V6 as well as a 2005 Accord V6 Luxury, which I am driving now.

The pleasure that the 2004 Accord V6 gave me was enough to convince me to go that extra step and get into the Luxury model. After owning the 2004 Accord, I was totally convinced that the Luxury model would just complete the package that most European marquees would charge a whole lot more money for. I have driven a couple of Australian-made cars and can safely say that the Accord is a cut above the rest - if not most European cars.

My 2005 Accord V6 Luxury comes with 8 airbags, rain-sensing wipers, sun roof and fully leather upholstered seats – it is the envy of all my friends but the pride and joy of my family. I have added 17” genuine mag wheels that came off an Accord Euro and this has added to the sporty look and feel when negotiating corners or bends in the road.

My Honda Accord is truly a result of the “Power of my Dreams”.

Reminds me of Honda Enthusiast/hondaskywalker whats his name.....but he was obsessing over the cg/ck v6 Accord.

Either way, welcome mate!

does it matter? it's very nice to see some people actually care and take time to point out good things about their car rather than fuss and whine about everything "wrong" with their cars.

I tried posting some photos but failed - maybe the site has a size limit for attachments - I will try again now.

Last year I worked on the Honda stand at the Melbourne Motor Show as a Customer Advocate - a new thing that Honda has introduced to have actual customers on the stand to share their Honda experience - I am hoping I get a chance this year too.It is pretty cool because no other stand had this concept - just the usual - pretty but dumb chics. The models on our stand were also pretty cool and educated about the Hondas on show - they had to go through 2 days of product training.

I will stop bragging about my Honda experience and let someone else share their experiences...:D

I got my accord from John Blair Honda in Prahran - the Euro wheels came of the Dealer principal's wife's new Euro - I traded the 16" alloys for the 17" Euro wheels and paid $1800 for the changeover.

To me a car is an extension of one's personality - it is a really good feeling to drive a well looked after car - because I drive my car to work everyday and park it in an open carpark, every Saturday morning I take it to the local car wash and wash it - so for the weekend it is like new again.

I have seen a lot of posts with people having a whinge - my reply to them is - look after your car and it will give you years of driving pleasure - it is a Honda after all.
