hey guys,

I have a 94 accord and was wondering wat this problem could be and if any of u guys know how to fix it.....

Ok the problem is that....when i drive slowly i could hear this squeaking noise and when i apply pressure on the brakes it would stop...now im thinkin it could be my brakes...another problem im havin is that when im turning left at a certain speed like about 30-40km i could hear this clunging noise at the front right hand side...im not sure wat it could be...but my friend said that it could be my driveshafts, cv shafts or wheel bearing...now im not quite too sure what it could be...so if u guys have any suggestions feel free to tell me...

hey there i have the same issue am going to check my brakes this weekend, with the knocking sound i also had same issue and was cv joint cost mt i think 140 150 to get them done, now also if you have recently changed tyres check and excuse the wording your nuts arnt lose cause i did a brake change on the front put the wheels back on and it started again took it back to the place and they couldnt find the issue, then when they replaced the wheel with a rattle gun they relised i hadnt tightened the nuts so the wheel was wobbling whilst driving, but get the joints checked and yes i had prices up to the 500's so look around and in the end these guys were nice and explained alot to me

go straight to a cv specialist or to something like repco or supercheap coventrys and just ask around mine were like 70 each i think honda are a rip off theres no diffrence i dont believe, but do ring arounds and dont get second hand when it comes to things like cv joints, theres no point

Knocking and clicking can also mean the swaybar bushes have worn out. Just got mine serviced and thats all the problem was, CVs are fine. Easy fix - $20 each side.

also make sure thast your brakes have ther shims fitted behind the pads as this is a cause of squeaking

ahhh ok...i will check them out today....btw can the squeakin noise be caused by my brake pads being dirty? or is the brake pads that are wearing out? cuz i had a look at my pads and they're like 1/2 left...
