AIYA! im about to cry.
Cheapest quotes i got so far were 3500 from GIO and Just Cars,
Western QBE and Allianz dont touch modified cars btw.

So unless i can get a cheaper quote than my previous company ($2800), I will have to go with them, anyone got a contact for insurance brokers, or recommend any??

Thanks! im stuffed!!

I have heard a few good things about Shanons Insurance... Worth a quote ?

yeah the problem with shannons is that they really only want to insure classic cars, so they may not be helpful, thats what I have found anyway

u must have a bad driving record? 3500 is crazy expensive.. im paying 1.8k for my civic and mods.

what company u with weq? my driving record is perfect, have had license for 3 years, however 0% NCB.. and my area might make it more expensive...

here are the quotes i got ,
Virgil - wont insure
Just cars - 3335 0% NCB
NRMA - 4500 45% NCB
GIO - 3400 50% NCB
Famous - willing to match my existing policy - 2700, even tho they dont insure under 21yr olds
CGU - 7000 LOL
Allianz - dont insure mods
Western QBE - dont insure mods

no claim bonus, insurance company rewards u for like not making any claims, so say u hold insurance for 1 year, and make no claims, u get a no claim bonus and effectively ur next years insurance will be cheaper :)
