Guys i cant find a DIY to clear the ABS light if it stays on, anyone point me in the right direction?
BTW i got a 5th Gen Prelude

well u most likely would need one of those scanners LOl easiest way.. but i dont think u would afford that so just go to a mechanic they should have one of them computer scanners and can erase the abs error.

plug a short conector in the blue SCS conector,
press the brake pedal
turn ignition on
when the ABS light comes on undo the short conector with in 4 seconds
when the ABS light goes off plug in the short conector with in 4 seconds
when the ABS light comes on undo the short conector with in 4 seconds
then the ABS light will rapidly blink to indicate ABS DTC memory cleared

guys anyone know where the SCS connector is on the prelude, i checked near the ECu but couldnt see it, i also checked on the other side (near the shifter) but it aint there either.

remove the cover in the green circle
its the 2 pin blue connector :)

where's the SCS on a civic? Is that the thing you jump for ecu codes?

the SCS on the civics should be near the ECU its a blue plug (ithink) passenger kick panel. - definately for EG Civics but for EK hmmm
ED/EF should be in the engine bay on the firewall - a brown plug.and YES it is that "thing" u jump for CEL codes :p

yes it is the two wire blue connector for the pgmfi
same one.
