abs code on a 92 CRX

hey guys new to this site and just bought a crx and the abs light is always on from the moment u start the engine, so i looked through the service history and its been documented that the fault is a code 12 (ABS motor circuit) just wanting to know if u guys know how i can correct this fault. cheers

check the under hood ABS fuses and relays. they are in there own fues box on the left shock tower


you need to apply 12v to the motor only andsee if it spins

a good way to do it is to bridge the contacts of the relay in the fues box

read this DIY, it explains how to do it for the priming the acumulator

just dont do it to long

after that you should test the acumulator pressure switch

then try reseting the ABS ECU and see if it works

also ABS fluid should be flushed once a year or nasty things develop in the ABS
