From memory from honda-tech ek4 and Em1 subframes are the same built structure and ek1 and ek9 are different. Can anyone confirm this with me, I cant find the link on honda-tech anymore.

THanks

arent they just welded on nuts ( em1/EK4) where all other local EK's have open holes ?

they also have a plate (kinda joining the nuts) to stop the holes from being plucked out.. AHAHAHAH unlike all the DC's and EGs ;)

btw the ek9 also has the rear reinforcement like the dc2r

if your worried about the rear breaking get one of the kits like the ASR to strengthen the rear. Underground imports sells them. thinking about about it myself

Note: - regardless of reinforcement you can still tear up an ek civic subframe.. (not EK9)

EK9 uses a complete different spec. its much thicker than the ek4/ek1/em/ej bs

When getting sway bar.. make sure you have reinforcement(one that moves mount bolts inwards) and spring rates of atleast 250lbs in the read
