Action: not bad at all with low current draw, we leave our car ( with alarm system) in the gerage for over 2 weeks, not a single problem when we go crank the baby up.

USUALLY with this type of battery ~ only drawback is the smaller reserve.
IE you cannot sit in your car for extended periods of time with accessories on.(sound system / lights etc) as this will drain the battery quicker than a normal larger battery.

But , this battery has everything else BETTER than a normal battery :)
Maintenance free ! Lightweight ! Great cranking power etc.

Hey Yonas,

Do these batteries outgas hydrogen on their charging cycle?

Can they be mounted sideways, upside-down etc?

Can they be legally relocated to the trunk (with suitable battery box)?
I'm thinking along the lines of an Odyssey dry cell battery.

yes you can mount it upside down if you like.

These also discharge at a slower rate than normal non-AGM battery.

AH thats great mate, I didn't know you could get those...I have one of these batteries already (but the 20 model) and yeah I just snipped my original clamp bits and screwed it down..(where you have the terminal fittings screwed in)

I have one of these (EXT 12) , while its the smallest and smallest rating (180cca) it has no problem kicking over my b18. Fantastic batteries !
