Regarding dash illumination

Just wondering if any1's done this before but anyway i want to change my dial illumination and the illumnation of my dash controls etc to white BUT i would like ot know if its the bulb that has to be changed, bulb cover or is it a screen which is responsible for the colour (orange at the moment). its a 1998 honda civic coupe :(

I changed the color of the globes on an EG once, it just had little bulb frangers on the globes that change the color. If you want them to be white, I would just pull them off!
