hi all

i was reading the owners manual of the honda civic 7th gen and it states in the manual that the user should not place CD-R disks into the CD, why is this the case?

i wanted to burn some Cds from mp3 format so i can listen to some songs on a CD-R in the case, but it is unadvisable to do so,

so what CDs can i put in this radio then ?

thats utter rubbish. The ONLY reason why it would say NOt to put CD-R's in the case is because it cannot read/play CD-Rs. altho they should be able to. my stock honda one was able to read CD-Rs. just burn yourself a music CD-R, not MP3 CD-R and have a go. at the very worst, it'll cost you 10c for teh CD-R which you can use at home anyway ;)

p.s. They MAY be referring to those miniture CDs - usually used for promos. But if your CD-Rs are the same size as original CDs (haha which should be.) then give it a go
