EM1 and EJ8 mufflers

Hey,

Just wondering whether these mufflers are identical, as one engine is vti-r and the other just a vti. Maybe vti-r has more power, needs a more free flow muffler?

i cant directly say yes or no ~ but one muffler is "made"
for 118kw , where as the other is for 96kw. That extra 22kw would justify a muffler that is alittle better internally IMO :)

Proably flows better, but on your EJ8 will net about 0 kw gain. Only swap if getting it for free, so you get VTi-R braggin rights ;P else dont bother, just burn it. your car that is. LOL i dunno. GL :P

Haha, im not actually looking for a power gain. I have an em1 with a twinloop muffler, and now that i want stock i cant find any em1 axlebacks and the ej8 one is the closest i can find.
