Hi

Firstly I would like to say Hello to all you Honda fans. I am in the market for a small car. I always thought that Hondas are reliable. I never kept much up to date with Honda technology. I have about 10k to spend. Which small Honda would you recommend? I am looking for something that was produced in this century and would be a really reliable car. I hate dealing with mechanics

Cheers

civics are a common buy, reliable but cars will alwayz have problems, spend like 8k or so on a car n wateva u have left over, do a major service or fix some parts up or something, i reccomend a honda civic, reliable + fuel efficient n plenty of parts available.

and welcome, and enjoy ur stay, you will find plenty of help in this forum

Well with that type of Budget, civic is your best choice!
If you want some fun with VTEC, get 92-95 EG civic Vti....
If you want a more recent model, a 96-00 EK civic will run great....

.. u hate mechanics? any reason to that? either way your looking for a old car with probably 100,000km+ on the clock.

Hard to find MY2000+ models under 10k.

If you can overlook the age, 97-99 EK model Civics are around that price range and are relatively cheap to maintain and very reliable.

Less that 40,000ks + 3 year warranty

Granted their not hondas, but with 3 yr factory warranty,as if you wouldnt buy one.... or you could buy a 10 yr old car.

Hey, if you have 10k to spend and want a more modern Honda thats from this century, your best bet is an EK Civic (MY96 - 00). If you're patient, you may be able to find a face-lift version of the EK (99 - 00). CXi is the base model which lacks power windows and a RPM meter, whilst the GLi has more features from factory such as power mirrors.
