the l/h tie rod end is the ball joint type thing on the end of your steering rod that connects to the hub assembly on your passanger side

you can buy them from most spares shops not sure how mutch it will cost but i do know commodore ones are around $30 its not hard a thing to cange your self

you just loosen the locking nut that is on the shaft then undo the nut ontop of the thread that goes throught the hub then there should be a flat area on the hub assembly that the tierod end goes throught if you hit that area with a hammer it will break its seal and you can then remove it from the hub

then you need to screw your old one off the steering rod then screw your new on on to the same spot your old one was and tighten the locking nut

then just put it back through the hub and and tighten the top nut sometimes the top nut is a nylock self locking nut or sometime you need to use a split pin

then go get a wheel alighnment

have u noticed any noises or lack of responce in steering from ur faulty tie-rod end?? umm.. i got a quote from honda spare parts, the tie-rod end for DC5 is $160, not a cheap part... id recommend that if u dont know wat u are doin, to get a mechanic to do it, any faults in steering components could be fatal
