Which AUDM honda engine??? yeh another noob question...

This is probably the most noob question buh i was curious 2 find out wat "specific" honda engine i have?? i own a 95' civic EG hatchback VTi manual..

I noe its a D16 engine, im finkin towards either the D16y1 or the D16z6 buh wat confuses me is i cant get relavant info on AUDM engines and only get info of other domestic market engines therefore cant determine which specific engine it is....

I did check out the ozhonda thread of all AUDM honda's buh doesnt mention the exact engine...

the best way for you to find out, is open up your bonnet, and check your engine number.

you have a d16y1. 97kw and 145nm. and no its not jap spec, its aus spec

the d16z6 is the d16y1 equivalent in america.. so basically any part that can be used in the z6 can be used in the y1..
