does anyone know what these holes do on the rear bumper ive seen it around quiet abit. the holes make it look ugly.

He wants people to think he got a rear engine Civic and those holes are for scavenging the engine heat out...

Looks just like some sticker put there just for looks.. Either that or it's his signature version of a bumper protector!

Even if it's a real hole, I don't think it does anything...

its to reduce a 'parachute' effect from the rear bumper... because it folds back around to the fron tof the car at the bottom of the mould, it acts like a parachute and creates more wind resistance...

Used mainly in drag racing, putting holes in the rear bumper alows the high pressure air to escape, which would usually be trapped behind the bumper at high speed. Ie, it slightly reduces drag.

:thumbsup: damn straight, why let the air out through a few small holes when you can easily stop any air getting behind the bumper in the 1st place:confused:
