hi all

having issues with my carby civic, its auto, 93 model, for some reason it keeps thinking the car is cold so the idle sits at around 2000 rpm, it doesnt always happen sometimes it drives normal.

its definatly not a idle problem as when the problem disappears its ok,

I told it to a local mechanic and he thinks its a solanoid in the carb,

has anyone had this trouble?

or does anyone know where i can take it to fix it, (my mechanic didnt want to touch it)

anyone got hanny's details. im thinking a honda specialist would know how ot fix it straight away no guess work.

Try cleaning the wax pallet valve (it controls the throttle linkage and choke butterfly). Also give hte Carby a good clean.
