real ek9 lights, indicator section painted?

tried a quick search and didn't really find anything specific enough answering what i needed to know

can't really make it out but, is the indicator area of the lights painted or is it chrome like the ek4 lights?

it's left chrome..

nothing is painted on real ek9 lights. it's all crome just like stock headlights, just darker.

yeah sorry i meant coloured not painted :)
just trying to work out how to make a diy better than the usual spray it black job
can't afford to rock only oem goods ;)

like someone already pointed out... the OEM EK9 ones are just in darker chrome all together...

when i DIY my headlight i had to mask those area up...

if ur interested i could probablly get u a set of aftermarket set that already has been blacked out... with the indicator part left chrome....

nah i can do it myself, i was just trying to find a way to leave it chrome too
going to be done to the next car is all

just gathering some info to do it properly this time around
perhaps i can find some tilt film which can do the job
will report back soon
