hey all...
I have a dc2r and just got some new rims + tyres (stock) on the car...
Problem:
I had an alignment done and all the details on the print-out states that everything is good yet the car still veers to the right when rolling/accelerating/decelerating...
any ideas what it may be? I know that this isn't really a huge problem as I can still drive it but it gives me the sh*ts sometimes coz i have to use more energy when driving (ie. the steering wheel corrects itself to the centre position when you let go of the wheel which in turn makes my car steer towards the right)
any help or similar cases + solutions will be appreciated

go complain
tell them to align it again
maybe some of the weights fell off??
if they have aligned it again and ur still gettin the veering to the rite...then go to another tyre place and get another alignment
if still veering, tell them to measure the camber on all weels
my guess is u may have + camber on the front rite and - camber on the front left
this will cause the car to veer to the rite...a camber kit will easily fix this

sounds like you got a dodgy alignment, do as krogoth has suggested, if the problem still cant be fixed correctly (i.e align the wheels to wrong spec's just to go straight) maby the car has been in a smash and has had a dodgy repair.
Quiet possibly one of your brake calipers has seized and biting a little bit...
maybe some of the weights fell off??
Aren't weights used with wheel balancing and not alignment?

yes the weights are used for weel balancing
wat i mean is if some of them fell off...this may create steering issues and vibrations
It would cause vibration but it wont cause the car to wander on its own

i have that same problem and belive me it is a big problem, as your tires wont wear out evenly now, if its on your right then your right tyre will wear out badly on the inside before the outside !!!
and now i have to invest in a camber kit to get it all done, as my car is lowerd 3inches, is your car lowered btw cause if it is then you will diff. need a camber kit.
Hope this helps out

If you have Camber problems then get the Skunk2 UCS's off Jdm Yard.
They are great and I highly recomend them. Easy adjusting, stronger than stockos (extra bracing on fronts), and they look trick.

thanks for the response...
went to the same tyre shop about the wheel alignment...
they reluctantly did it but the problem remains...
hmm... might have to get it done somewhere else...
ps. my car isn't lowered.. it's running stock suspension
