Hi guys,
I'm looking for a new CAT back system for awhile now. I have finally came down with the final 2 brands. HKS Silent Hi-Power and Hi-Tech Muffler from Sydney. Everyone knows about HKS but not much about Hi-Tech Muffler. I found them while reading HOT4s magazines. Their exhaust are nice and clean and most importantly, it is legal on the road. Up to 10% power gain on a Civic with their exhaust.
HOT4s has wrote many articles on Hi-Tech Muffler exhaust systems and from what I read these boys really know their exhaust stuff! Their factory is at Bathurst. These boys are not like your local round the corner exhaust blokes. They install exhaust system for ferrari and saw a BMW 6 series there too. Alright! Pricing... Got a quote from a HKS dealer for a Silent Hi-Power exhaust for $900 including shipping. Hi-Tech mufflers quote me a CAT-Back system for $880 including fitting.
Okay! I need you guys help now. Which will be better for an EM1? Has anyone has a Hi-Tech exhaust or HKS silent hi power on their B16? What are their pro & con? Please shed some light! Thank you!!!
