Hey guys,
I just purchased a DA9 for a daily driver as i wrote off my EG Sedan. I still have this sedan along with all the suspension gear off it. It has got compressed civic springs and the stock shocks on it. The sedan was at a perfect height, was practical for DD but didnt look like a 4x4. It didnt ride bad either.
I just put on my set of 05 Civic wheels on the DA9 and it looks great apart from the height of the car.

I wanna know can u bolt up some lowered EG springs or springs/shocks combo (even easier if possible) to a DA9. If so do i need anything else? I have all the gear off my sedan i can use.

yes. The stock EG front n read shocks / springs will fit your DA9.
Depending on he drop you might need to swap the front fork with either the EG forks , or keep the DA forks

Thats great. Ill give it a try when i have a chance.
Someone on H-T said that these EG parts arent interchangeable with DA's :thumbdwn:

I guess ill give it a go n find out.

I have 2 sets of EG shocks/springs/forks i can use.. one with compressed springs and the other stock. Would i be best to use the stock ones as someone mentioned it will already give me a 2" drop??

hey dude..
the eg sussi is shorter, so i would b using the higher springs to start off with, then go the lower 1s if ur not happy.
have a read of this post. we discussed alot of the eg options. u will need the eg forks, the da9 1s wont work. gluck

Ill see. Might give it a shot. Its just awkward to take pics while trying to work on the car sometimes lol.
Are the forks the UCA's?? im just unfamiliar with the term.

actually.. Its not the UCA is it.. its the damper fork that the bottom of the shock sits into and this fork bolts upto the LCA. Thats my guess. Theres no other fork there so it must be it :P
