Iv always wanted to spray mine black - but leave the rim silver....

Plain black is too dark - rather go gunmetal.

black seems to be the way to go cos its easier... i was thinking gunmetal would show defects in the paint (uneven-ness) easily...

go Matte Black. Dont use Gloss Black cause you will see any blemishes !!

I have seen Black EK4 Rims and they look great !! makes them look like 16" rather than 15".

wow that looks awesome!!

so i just masking tape/newspaper the tires and silver bits yeh?

btw, when i'm jacking up the car... i know i cant take all 4 wheels at the same time... but is it unreccomended to leave the car on the jack for like 2-3 hrs while i do one wheel?

Not if the jacks are in the correct positions. It would do damage to the jacks if anything.
