View Full Version : DC2 Armrest Centre Console?

Has anybody got an Armrest Console in their DC2 Type R?

I think the Vti-R's came standard with one ... just wondering if anybody has fitted one in a Type R.
If it is direct fit, or the Recaro's dont allow enough space ...?

Dont know anyone that has one in their DC2R, however the armrest does fit with the recaros as i had dc2r recaros in my gsi before.
I believe you'll also need to change all the plastic around the handbrake area as well, as the dc2r ones are different to the gsi/vtir centre consoles.

I have a type R, AUDM model, don't have a arm rest in the centre. Also if you did put one in, it kinda gets in the way of the seat controls in the centre. I think some old JDM models have the centre arm rest though. Someone please confirm this. Cheers.

You're gonna have to as the plastic on gsi/vtir tegs run from the hand brake all the way up and form the centre console itself.

i originally wanted one... just to store all my CDs in....
but i just got used to not having one.... :)
so who needs arm rest anyways when youve got muscles to support ya ;)

HUH?

oh do you mean just a plain centre console between the seats where you can store stuff? yes I have one of those, but no arm rests lol...

i have a centre console, with storage compartment in my VTi-R and it has padding on it to rest your arm on when driving.

It should all fit, but kinda alot of work just to bolt one on.

^ yeh, centre console has an arm rest thingy mobobby on top rofl :p

All tegs can fit it, even the dc2r, however you'll need to change the plastic housing thats around the handbrake, as well as lose the type r badge as i believe its on the piece of plastic that needs replacing for the centre console.
