Buying used Euro - questions

Im looking at buying a used Euro luxury (2004 model auto). I just cant afford a new one and after looking and driving a euro i dont want to buy anything else.

1. Its warranty finishes in June, can i extend it by 2 yrs? Is it easy to do
2. Has there been any major changes on models after 2004?

We can't tell you what is a good price and what isn't.
You can extend the warranty after the original 3 year warranty is transferred to your name before june and you pay the $900 or so to extend it.

The 2005 Luxury received beautiful 17" rims and a full sized spare. It is worth going for a 2005 over a 2004 Luxury.

Yeah nice rims:thumbsup: :thumbsup: .I have 06 and they got the shitty looking 9 spoke rims.I tried for ages to find a 2nd hand set,they're like hens teeth!!!

Agreed. I like the luxury 05 wheels rather than 06 -present one. Even so, I hate the base 16 inch alloy, looks too puny.

Does anyone know where the memory button is to remember the drivers seat position? It says it has it on the specs but i cant find it on the 2004 euro. The seller did not even know as he said he is the only driver and never used it

The 2004 doesn't have that feature.

Go for luxury i think it's worth the extra.There's some good deals on 06 models at the moment(not sure what's left though!)

New Euro you get free insurance, free assist, 5 years warranty, .. so weight that when you comparing the price of the 2nd hand with the new. I was looking at 2nd hand euro, then went to demo models and ended up with a new euro.

A 2nd hand 2004 Lux can be $8000 cheaper, still have 2 years of warranty by paying $900. And many Euros are in good condition as they are relatively new.

there are a few cheap ones around, i saw a red 2006 lux for 33k with 15k on the clock if i remember correctly, it's been sold now tho.

full size spare on the 05 onwards is good, the 06 has the new front grill, but yeh the 05 lux rims are much better then the ones on the 06. standard rims such a*se bad.

Dont forget cars that are so cheap might have a reason behind... a lemon or been in an accident...

however there are always good bargins, owner moving overseas, got a windfall and changing to beetter cars, etc... so have to hunt around.

Well I guess I gotta live with I have right now. It's a good move by Honda did not release standard with steel wheel with the plastic wheel cap when it was first released. That would look much worse.

If you want fitted, you have to get them from the dealer. If you are in sydney, then pm destrukshn.

Ive got a set of the 05 lux 17" rims that I wouldnt mind getting rid of. They are in perfect condition. I did less than 100 km's on them, I fitted a set of
19's on the car 2 days after I bought it.
