extractors and cat back exhaust

hi guys im new here :)
and just bought a 93 civic and im looking to make it go faster
just wondering how much a set of extractors and a full cat back exhaust system would set me back? i dont want a big brand name one just mid range from the local autoshop

what model civic?
a full header-back exhaust u are looking at ~700-1000 depending on brand of header. mild steel 2.25" \w muffler and hotdogs & cat & flex pipe.

catback, ur looking at ~400 for a mild steel 2.25"

hey man u can get a 2.25 cat back mild steel crush bent for bout 260

and fit it with a muffler from me for 140 ;)

mandrel bent is slightly less restrictive but dearer.

i got a 2.25 crush bent with stainless muffler and im looking to get a mandrel soon.
might gain 0.5hp lol

Well you can get yourself some X-Force headers for around $500. I almost got a set in unfinished mild (just plain looking no pollished finish like the X-Force) for a VTi for $300 i think it was.

A cat back press bent in 2.25 you'd be stupid to spend more than $200 fitted(unless your getting pollished finish). I paid $160 for my cat back, works a treat and sounds nice, not too loud but a good note. Cats... got no idea how much they're worth.

they are $250 - $275. someone's sellin cat and pipe on these forums that he gets from somewhere. decent price too. maganflow and i think it's car sound r brands of the cats ppl use...

although contrary to what everyone else has said, I would only go the following on exhaust diameter:
- 2 inch if its mandrel bent
- 2.25 inch if its press bent.

i got mine done at livo exhaust for $550 for 21/2" catbak exhaust, thats includin muffler

highflow cat will cost ya from 250 - 350
$250 for the 6L
$350 for the 7.2L

I believe the stock pipe is 1.75 inch. and its press bent. (pls correct me if i'm wrong).

so 2 inch mandrel should be a good compromise without sacrificing too much low end tractability (what tractability?! hehee :D )

Yes, 2.25" mild mandrel bent. From what I gather the general consensus for catback at Livo is around $240-300 depending on who quotes you.
