Hey guys,

I have had a VAFC II installed for a while now but I've never gotten around to tuning.
I have a few friends who also have the same unit but none are tuned - only for show.

So on Tuesday I visited Toda Racing in Wetherill Park, NSW.

Upon taking return of the car,
The first thing I noticed was that the engine just sounded ALOT smoother - it sounds like it has just gotten a service.
The next noticable improvement was the extra amount of torque.
The car is alot less sluggish and just more drivable around town.

If you already have a VAFC II installed,
This tune could be the cheapest, most well spent $150 you can spent on the car.

The dyno chart shows a 6.5kw gain,
as well as an overall torque gain in the cam changeover range and top end.

The car is a DC2R, bone stock minus a J's Racing whale penis intake and the VAFC II.

I'd recommend these guys to everyone.
Friendly as hell and they know exactly what they're doing!
Good job Adrian :)

Did you specify the type tuning you wanted or left it to the shop to tune it to the best possible way?

yes, it was well worth it by the looks...

if only the other tuners could do what adrian does, then VAFC would have a better reputation...

Yeah it all depends on which dyno you use..
I have ran my car on another dyno and pulled 118kw with just an intake :P
..so it would be 123-124kw-ish after the tune.

I'm not sure which dyno is more accurate.
Although I have heard people who have ran the Powertune dyno and gotten the same results at Bel Garage and another dyno which I can't recall the name of at the moment.

But knowing how Toda Racing keep up their quality.. I'm sure their dyno gets calibrated and serviced regularly as well. So it's hard to say :)

Just PM him to let him know that you're coming.
ie: bookings essential.

It takes about an hour to tune and tuning the VAFC is a fixed rate at $150.
