Gday guys, i have ed9 crx. Im just wondering if there is a way to shorten the gearing in these. Not theoretically "get a different diff ratio". But rather is there a diff that will go into my car or do you need a new gearbox and if so what one's fit. I have d16a8. Did the jap spec zc motors get different gearing or anything. I would prefer a changed diff as the car only has genuine 65k on it so i dont want to throw out a good gearbox to go and get one thats on its last legs just because it has shorter gearing.

You can change your Final Gear.

Maybe one of the traders can get something for you.

shorter gearing ? Simple fix is get smaller wheels with smaller overall circumference :P
from my experience with the D16 , the gearing was pretty good to keep the car in its powerband already. Only needs a LSD
