hi all
have anyone ever put a d16y SOHC vtec in a ED civic before ?
if so just wanna know if the engine goes in easy anything need to be change ?
beside the fuel tank and the rails ?

umm, y1 and y8 have hydro clutch (well mine does)
and ED's have cable, so that might be another hurdle if your swapping whole engines over.
If your doing just a head swap than i dont see that else could be a problem other than what u have mentioned

Well I have the whole half cut of an eg vti one, that y I wanna use that engine. I wanna get started soon, but wanna see if it easy to do so.

nope its not easy... gotta change from carbie to injected, the engine mounts are different also, not a HARD conversion, but not exactly straight forward either

well the mounts SHOULD be the same, on all d series and b too.
the only things to worry bout are what u said, and the clutch

Does anyone have info on how to change from cable to hydro clutch, it would be helpful, can I use the fuel rail and fuel tank from eg?
