It is an aftermarket HID. Check if the bulb is blown. Replace it if it is. If the bulb is alright, it could be the ballast.

Sure its HID? Its probably just Halogen

nuh these are aftermarket HID's not halogen lights... sorry shoulda made that clear in the 1st post.. but yea today when i chucked them on they both came up then after about 3 hrs when i left my mates place went to turn them on again and it happened again ... so the bulb itself seems like it works.... i'll check the ballast ... but i'm not familiar with the ballast on HID's how do i check to make it work ? (sorry if stupid question)

I had a dodgy ballast which started to fault under heat... try putting the aftermarket ballast from the "good side" on the "bad side" and the faulty ballast on the good side, that should help you illiminate if it's the ballast or a globe/wiring problem.

ohhh ok .... i tried to find where the ballast was put .. but i can't find it ... looks like the previous owner got it professionally done.. cause the wiring just like disappears .... can't seem to find it :(

wiring never dissapears
lol.
drop the front bar.
it's most probably behind there.

LOL may be its not HID? just the bulb with rellay kit? it mite be LOL ...

if its ballast... any china brand ballast should do it. friend of mine screwed his ballast in 3 days. and get another ballast which in diffrent brand but it works. the seller says. that china made a mass production of HID and send to others to get it stickered. so same production line

i had a good look yesterday and it looks like teh wiring heads into the front bar... so the ballast is most probably behind there.... the light started working again yesterday ....

and again... they are HID's cause i have halogen replacement ones in my dc2 and they aren't the same as these ... so i'll drop the front bar and check the ballast ...
