Guys,
i need some comfirmation on something.
im sick of my sedan front and have now decided to put the eg hatch front on it.
from what ive read i need to source out:
eg hatch front bumper
eg hatch bonnet
eg hatch front left fender
eg hatch front right fender
is this all i need ?
i got this quote from HONDWRECK for new parts
eg hatch front bumper - $100
eg hatch bonnet - $190
eg hatch front left fender - $90
eg hatch front right fender - $90
sounds resonable?

you will also need a radiator surport beam if you car is either a different model or if there was a face lift in the eg models and you have the other face, i had to do this with my civic as i went from the 98 to the 99 front end

it will not fit.
well it will all bolt on.
BUT.
there will be a 2 inch gap between your door and the gaurd.
btw people, this is a EG, not a EK
head lights are the same.
radiator support is the same.
hatch corner lights are different, hatch ones are shorter.
hatch gaurds are shorter.
hatch bonnet is shorter.
plus the gap where the hatch corner lights go into the gaurd are smaller.
i have attempted this myself, got a front end from a hatch, and it left about a 2inch gap between the gaurd and the door.
if you wanted to, custom make your gaurds practically.

15-POV just has the hatch bumper on his sedan, it's not perfect as it is shorter on the sides at the wheel arches, but if you are not too picky it looks reasonable

so wat ur saying is that if i did get
eg hatch front bumper
eg hatch bonnet
eg hatch front left fender
eg hatch front right fender
and hatch headlights
and bolt it on my seden
there would still be a gap between the front door and the front guards?

yes it will go on, but won't sit flush.
the corner lights won't fit properly.
and that gaurd flare is thicker on the hatch.

i had a front ender once
took hatch radiator support fitted onto my sedan
left the front guards and corners (sedan)
wacked on std front bar
put on hatch bonnet and it was perfect - though the nose of the bonnet stuck out a tad bit
weird yes lol

-;1086464']so thats one less thing i gotta change
so what are you gonna do?
just use a hatch front bar?
or use the other panels as well?
if you use the gaurds, it will leave a 2 inch gap.

^ What rims are they anyway? :D
in my thought the headlight or the headlight stay will be different sedan and hatch, but after i look this thread said not.. it's hard to say with the fender, front bar, it'll leave a gap.. but my suggestion is "just go for it" :D

- going on from what JT (destrukshn) said
- u gotta use hatch guards as the corners(blinkers) are different - hence the gap
- one of the melb guys (dr4gon) one it to his sedan
- search the appearence section if its still posted
-[NoS]-

ill go for it
but i need a place that would do it
any recommendation guys????
im in southeast melb

the guards on that sedan look aftermarket, no indicators, or maybe he shaved them. I thought about just wacking on the bumper but i can't find one that is cheap enough and in reasonable condition.
They are either cheap, or in good condition
But than again i had a look at a eg hatch today, so hopefully i might get that and get rid of my sedan

LOL thats soo random
-[NoS]- why don't u sell ur sedan & buy another hatch?
as Kerb Weight for Sedan is 1046kg & Hatch is 1013kg
Wheel Base for sedan is 2620mm & Hatch is 2570mm
i believe for handling hatch much better than sedan <- (just my point of view)
