Hey guys,
Just wanted to say hello, i am a Nissan man and own a r33 gts-t skyline and a 300zx TT.
My g/f owns a Honda accord 93model and that’s all i pretty much know about it. I think the model is EXI or something, and apparently it's got a 2.2L 4cyc in it, which surprised me. As you can see I’m pretty much Honda illiterate, but i used to ride a Honda dirt bike so that has to count for something ;)
The reason I’m on this site is to learn more about her car, and see what other people have done with similar cars, so i can help lightly modify her car.
Basically i love all cars and working on them, so i look forward to meeting allot of you and hopefully being able to offer help/advise wherever i can.
Regards
Michael

Different type of forum to get used to, probably doesn't help that i dont' knwo exactly what model i'm dealing with or if there is only one 93 honda accord :s hahah i guess i'll learn these things soon. I was trying to search to see what ppl have done, but so far google/image search has been the most helpfull.

Hi Michael. Welcome to OzHonda.
Can we see some pics of your gts-t and 300zx? I've always been an ardent fan of these two cars...even went to a couple of SAU events last year (or was it the year before).
I own an Accord too but it's a 98 model. Dunno much about the 93 except that it's referred to as a CB model, and people like to dump the H22A motor from the Prelude into it. They can be made to handle pretty well too, with the right suspension setup, sways and some sticky rubber. (I think they're light cars)
As for light mods, you might want to contact some of the traders on this forum and maybe source a set of coilovers, sways and rims along with a cool JDM air freshener perhaps? :o (Most Honda owners love to JDM-bastardise their cars...lol...anything from the motherland is considered sacred)
Well, I hope you enjoy your stay here with us....and don't forget to post them PICS!!

don't have any pictures of my g/f's honda as yet.
Are there any places in australia that sell kits for these cars? I quite like the lines of her car, and it drives nicely (actully teh powersterring on all accords, i've driven in teh past feels distinctanly different) i think atm rather then making it go faster she's more interested in astetic modification... Just put a JVC screen adn dvd player in the skyline 2days ago and she's eyeing that of now hahahah =/

y hallo thar.
welcum to ozhonderz.
we r friendly 2 all, weather nissun or toyoda.
:)
nice clean GTS-t. I like them. RB engines are pretty cool, cept for the boat anchor RB20.
We generally aren't all ricers here, and we like anything that looks tough and is interesting. Whether it's a Honda Jazz or a GT-R 34. What is most important is that you love cars.
The creator (Wyn) actually drives a nissan atm. I guess the knowledge base in here is ok. And you get out what you put in. I hope that you do become a positive influence on this place.
It's always good to have new people on board, because it livens things up and brings new opinions to the fore.

Thanks for the warm welcomes =)
Sireal: I know bud ;) and i'll keep you update, but at this point it's going to be a very long project =) but in the end the time and money spent will make it all the more rewarding.
yourfather: I totally agree, i look at these automotive related forums, as car forums and enojoy talking to fellow enthuisests. Even if i dont' like that style ... (crx's don't do anything for me) i still enjoy seeing the time and effort put into there cars. New ppl defently bring new oppinions and i look foward to contributing. Basically i origionally came here to find out more about my g/f's car, but so far everyone seems really friendly =)

Nice, I like the gtst, series1 if I'm not mistaken. Maybe some bigger wheels would make it look more grounded. (lipped wheels look great but always appear smaller than what they actually are). & it looks like your backyard is slowly eating up the 300zx

Rims are light weight enkei racing rims, i woudl like a bigger set but i have my eye on Nismo Lm's which are quite expensive =/ Those pictures where taken from the 300zx's place before i aquired it. My grass is mowed, like in the gts-t picture lol ;)
