can i cut fibreglass?

i want to cut the side part of my mid spoiler off (as indicated from the pics)..

can it be done without it cracking etc?

assuming its solid inside im wondering if i can sand it afterwards or not..
or else assuming its hollow inside.. wat do i do to cover up the big hole?

It won't be solid inside as most fiberglass stuff is hollow

You can cut it but it will have a great big hole there that you will need to fiberglass over

That looks like a really nice spoiler you have there :)
I would suggest you take it to a body shop to get it done; will cost you a few hundred at the most plus paint

its obvioulsy hollow inside. and yes u can cut it .. and maybe to cover that hole u migh tneed to use fibreglass to redo it.

yeah it can be done, obviously the ends would need to be remolded and then sprayed again

yeah you can cut the fiberglass, but after that... u might need to make it tidy again.. use a small tools not too strong cutter point
