suspension check at Pedders

hey ppl... i went to pedders to do the 28 pt suspension check and they said that my Bump Stop is completely destroyed... i totally forgot to ask them whether it is something that i should worry about.. whether it would need replacing immediatlely? like am i at any risk of damage?

the bump stop is designed to be a soft peice which will cushion your car if it bottoms out. So rather than steel hitting steel, steel hits rubber, or eurethane, whatever its made of

If your car sits hell low, then youll be using your bump stops mkore frequently, unless you got a heavy duty setup with really stiff springs and shocks.

Repeated bottoming out with shitty bumpstops, worst case scenario is broken or bent bits, although i find this unlikely, at the least its gonna be really noisy when you bottom out

i wouldnt particularly call it dangerous, because if your low enough to bottom out that often then its already dangerous because your cars gonna be bouncing around

if you can afford too, get them changed
