Hi all, i'm eventually looking to replace the stock wipers on my EK civic - either silver/chrome or red ones. I've seen off-the-shelf ones at like Autobarn, K-mart as well as blades. I'm just concerned that they might not fit or work as smoothly as the stock since they are probably suited for various models. Anyone here have aftermarket wipers? If so, where did you buy them from? Are there a few brands of wipers/blades to choose from? Which ones are the best, will last longest, no scratching etc. I don't mind paying extra or having to order.
Edit - Also looking at replacing the washer nozzles, to chrome or something. Easy to find and replace?

I have MTEC brand on my civic they come in a few sizes and they work fine. I think you can get them from autobarn and places like that...

usually the work better then standard ones coz they have silicon inserts..
make sure u measure up the correct size wipers coz otherwise they might hit when operating.. usually on side is small then the other...
just get a measuring tape to measure it..

Hey i brought mine from motorquip in burwood and sterling parts in silverwater the biggest size u can fit without scratching ur paint is 18" might'nt sound important but it pissed me off when u had 2 respray my guard cause the stoopid thing scratched it. Now next issue, I had big chunky plastic ones from stirling and meal ones from motoquip. The plastic ones i loved they gave me the look i wanted however my gf has similar ones and hers keep cracking go figure :S the metal ones work good they r just skinnier and dont give me the bling look i wanted but they came in d size i needed so i grabbed em. the plastic ones cost me about 20 each the metal aboutb 35 - 40 each. they both work the same and i thnk better than the standrd ones but do be aware some cops think that just cause they hav a chrome look that their a defect! i havent been hassled but my gf has.. so yeah thats my 2 cents hehe

cut accordingly

i'd rather the wipers not standout so much
