accord v6 or camry altise v6

need a family car..
which one do you prefer?
2001 accord v6 or 2003 camry altise v6?
coz they are the same price around 16k?

The 01 Accord's interior might actually look better than the Altise V6. The first thing that came into my mind when I sat in the Altise was "Taxi". I didn't like the gap in the centre console.

The camry's been hit with the ugly stick and there are too many on the road, plus the interior is very plastic and cheap looking.
Get the accord :)

Because it is a good car for its price. Back then, it was about $10,000 cheaper than the Accord. Even the new Accord is still more expensive. Once you price it up, you'll be pitting the 2.4L against the V6. Not that the 2.4L is bad but some people prefer the smoothness of 6 cylinders.

Camry's are reliable. But if you wanna be seen as having 'borrowed your mums car for the night', then buy that.

Also, in VERY general terms with no offense intended, if you're asian, and you drive a base model camry, you will look like you work for a chinese restaurant ;) **This is what my mum told me and its so true.

hehe..so indo... its got different headlights as well.

but i dont mind the new camry's. they look alright. but soon, they will have common status. just like the commodores.

ive spent quite alot of time in an '03 altise (4 cyl) and its a very comfortable, functional and roomy car and being a toyota ude expect very good reliability as well. its solid but it does give off the image of being a bit cheap, especially interior wise (which is fair enuf i guess considering it was a cheaper car).

however, i will point out tho that its my grandparants car so that may be sorta the image attached to it - a bit dull :p

in the end either wood prob suit ur purpose well but ide still prob go the accord coz it isnt so bland :) well this is a honda forum... ;)

Not if he wants the space or has to drive around 5 adults. The Euro is a 4+1 seater. Very narrow boot too.
