How much does a D16Y8 weigh?

Hey i would like to know how much a D16Y8 engine weighs as i need to organise shipping of one.

any1???? or does any1 hav ne idea how much a b series engine weighs so i can use that as an estimate????

A D-Series weighs about 150kg excluding the tranny. I imagine the tranny is around 80-100kg roughly.

You can convert pounds to kg using google. Search google for:
200 lb = ? kg

d16 gearbox is only like 40-50kg

so block and head will be something like what eurodude said... about 150- 180kg

= about 200- 230kg
